Punjammies are pajama pants made by women in India who have been rescued, released or escaped from a life of forced prostitution. The International Princess Project welcomes these women into an after-care facility where they are taught marketable skills to rebuild her life. All proceeds from every Punjammie purchase goes straight to India to pay wages, provide living expenses, create savings accounts for the women, and provide holistic support and restoration to help them along in their healing process and to help in rebuilding lives shattered by modern-day slavery.
Here is a link to where you can purchase some beautiful pajama pants and participate in helping these women build a future for themselves. The pants are all hand made by women who were formerly enslaved in prostitution and are crafted from beautiful Indian Sari fabric in gorgeous prints and patterns unique to the Indian culture.
I can't wait to get a pair for lounging around the house in, and looking at them will be a constant reminder of how we can empower women with dignity and hope. Here is the link for where you can find out more information and buy some for yourself! Punjammies
